Enduring Style

February 2016

For most homeowners, the kitchen is the center gathering place for casual meals, homework, cooking and celebrations. Fortunately, this large kitchen renovation and addition provided ample space to incorporate the owners wish list.

Top priorities included a large butler pantry, custom cabinetry, luxe appliances, elegant stone and tile, and a large center island with seating. There was even space for a large kitchen harvest table with custom built-in bench seating that overlooked the family room and backyard patio. Classic style and durable products completed this project by Streeter Renovation, Linda Engler Interior Design and Peterssen / Keller Architecture. A recipe for success!

“The front entry terrace invites a pause and creates a link between the home and garage. The stunning exterior house stone walls extend into the front hall, and the Pindu Pine was carefully selected for its Japanese look that also compliments the Japanese Shoji screens inside. This house is set in its landscape, with seamless flow in and out.” — Sarah Nettleton, AIA LEED AP

The living room, dining room, family room, kitchen, bar and butler's pantry - are distinctive and unique, yet complimentary in style, color palate and overall design approach. A Winter Wonderland

December 2013

This unique twenty-first century modern design recalls old-world tradition in its use of form and materials. Composed of three adjoining pavilions, this distinctive home resembles a small village of old stone cottages, yet it is distinctively modern. While the silhouette may appear simple, the project scope, scale, complexity and detailing is impressive. In the house that Streeter built.

MUST HAVE MUDROOMS

March 7, 2012

As Spring approaches, most families are thankful for their beloved mudrooms that endure drying umbrella's, muddy boots, and a space to towel off a damp dog or two. A coveted room for gear storage, kids lockers, and seasonal apparel. The mudroom often becomes a message center, the pet feeding and napping area, and sometimes transitions into a gift wrap counter or flower potting station. Mudrooms are also useful spaces in lofts, condo's and guest homes. Call us today to plan your new mudroom or Spring renovation project.
