NOSTALGIC SELECTIONS

Traditional design elements like the antique doors blend nicely with the dominant contemporary look, evoking a sense of nostalgia.

The design challenge for this lakefront penthouse was to express the owners’ personality, past and passions. That’s why artifacts and art pieces collected over many years adorn the interior of this lovely apartment. Traditional design elements like the antique doors blend nicely with the dominant contemporary look, evoking a sense of nostalgia. The open, intimate feeling on the contemporary living area contrasts with other more clearly defined spaces. A large double-sided fireplace clad in weathered copper with rustic reclaimed fir cabinet doors separates the living and dining rooms. Rustic red bricks and reclaimed fir cabinets with a natural aged patina reference the south where one of the owners spent her childhood. Call today to schedule an informational meeting or tour.
